Some folks are reluctant to move to a retirement community because they think, "Boring institutional food." But they'd be wrong when it comes to Air Force Village dining quality and options. With venues that include everything from casual coffee cafés to cafeteria-style to gourmet to penthouse dining with spectacular views, AFV has something delicious to suit every appetite.

If you love a big, hot, full breakfast or prefer a continental breakfast with fresh fruit, yogurt, cereal, breads and a steaming, aromatic cup of delightful coffee, we've got it. If you want Chinese for dinner, enchiladas for lunch, grilled fish, fresh seasonal vegetables, we've got it. If lunch is your big meal of the day, check out the irresistible choices. If you're on a diet, ditto ... you won't be eating blah food; you'll be eating healthy, delicious hot and cold selections.

On any given day, you might get minestrone soup or shrimp bisque, chicken Kiev, grilled salmon, eggplant parmesan, mango glazed pork, beef teriyaki, parmesan crusted catfish, Yankee pot roast, a Rueben sandwich. Sides are homemade and plentiful. Soups abound. Breads are fresh and numerous. And desserts present a banquet so tempting, you may need to jog home - think French silk pie, chocolate eclairs, pina colada cake, strawberry trifle, blondies, lemon bars, blueberry vanilla tart ...

The dining venues are almost as exciting as the goodies within, and all-day dining invites residents to eat what they want, when they want - in social community or as take-out or picnic fare. The two newest dining venues are:
